The arch and length of the dustpan eases cleanup, the wood turned handle provides firm grip and the rubber liner along the edge of the scoop will retrieve small crumbs with a single swipe.     You have to put at least one foot of the pole into the ground. That leaves 5 feet of pole above ground. It's a known fact that squirrels can jump upward a distance of five feet. Therefore, squirrels caqn jump up to the feeder and eat the seed out of it, even with a baffle as the baffle does not stick out enough to block the squirrel's jump.

    I have had wrens for almost five years but they did not return in 2016. I saw the chalet-style wren house and I admit I was skeptical but I purchased it and by day two, the wrens returned! The wrens are happy nesters in this house!
